I also tried vegetarian options of local stews and snacks, and the flavors were so rich and comforting. Even as someone who mostly eats vegetarian food, I found plenty of tasty options.
The food in Porto isn’t fancy or overly complicated – it’s authentic, made with love, and full of soul. If you’re visiting, be sure to walk into local bakeries and street-side restaurants – that’s where the real magic happens.
