About Me
Software developer by day, world traveller by heart
I'm Prakash Pokhrel — a software developer from Nepal, currently based in Finland, with a deep-rooted passion for exploring the world. My earliest international memory goes back to age five, crossing into Rupaidiha on the India-Nepal border. That spark of curiosity never faded; it only grew.
What started as solo backpacking trips across South Asia evolved into Nepali Yatri — a platform dedicated to documenting authentic travel experiences. Armed with a camera and a notebook, I create detailed itineraries, transparent budget breakdowns, visa guides, and immersive videos to help fellow travellers navigate the world confidently and responsibly.
Beyond travel, I write songs, ghazals, and poetry — finding creative expression in both code and verse. My philosophy is simple: every journey, whether through a foreign city or a blank page, is an opportunity to connect, learn, and share something meaningful.
Empower travellers with honest, first-hand resources — from visa logistics to daily budgets — so they can plan journeys that are enriching, affordable, and sustainable.

Visa info, itineraries, and real expenses from every country visited.
Immersive travel videos and short-form content from destinations across the globe.
Practical tips, cultural insights, and personal reflections from the road.
An interactive globe tracking every country visited on this journey.
Have a question, collaboration idea, or just want to say hello? I'd love to hear from you.
